Daytona's Father, a.k.a. Eric Hodson, grew up on a farm in south central Kansas. He graduated college with a communications degree and has been working in the field of advertising and public relations for the past 30 years. During that time, he has helped raise two children, one with life threatening food allergies. During the past 17 years, he went from having minimal knowledge on how to manage food allergies to becoming educated about everything from 504 planning to organizing and supporting non-profit organization to help others with food allergies. He has been a past board member of the Quad City Food Allergy Network and has helped organize and participate in several community food allergy awareness events.
