Dr. Gupta is an associate professor of pediatrics (FAAP, FAAAAI) and an interdisciplinary child health researcher. She is affiliated with both the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine's Institute for Public Health and Medicine, as well as the The Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago's Smith Child Health Research Program. Her research portfolio spans from the clinical diagnosis and management of childhood food allergy to chronic disease epidemiology and community-based participatory research, particularly in collaboration with schools. She is currently funded by the National Institutes of Health and multiple private foundations. Dr. Gupta has authored or co-authored over 50 peer-reviewed publications.
